Events : Traditional 'Monthi Fest' celebrated in Canada

It was a Sunday with a difference. For many, it was a trip down memory lane, for the younger ones, a unique and exciting experience. The Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) celebrated 'Monti Fest' on September 07, 2003 in Mississauga in a historical and time-honored manner. The festivities brought back wistful and nostalgic memories of similar celebrations back home in India on the feast of the Nativity of our Lady.

Events : MAC 2nd Annual Picnic

Clear, sunny skies! Balmy temperatures! Dewy green grass and gentle breezes! It was a perfect day for a picnic. The Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) did an encore and organized their 2nd annual picnic on June 21, 2003 at the Meadowvale Conservation Park. The attendance was stupendous.

This was a poignant expression of His Excellency's tremendous love for the Mangalorean Christian community in Canada. The Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) assisted by Rev. Fr. Edwin D'Souza, Pastor of St. Martha and Mary Church, Mississauga, organized a Eucharistic celebration followed by a reception on Friday, June 13, 2003.

Events : First Family Social

Our first Family Social was held on Saturday, May 3, 2003 at the Royal Banquet Hall, Mississauga, Ontario. We received an overwhelming response from hundreds of Mangaloreans residing in Toronto. Tickets were sold out well in advance as the community was anxiously looking forward to this event.
