Dear Friends, our high feast - the nativity of our Most Blessed Virgin Mary is soon upon us - September 11th, 2011. We look forward to celebrating Monthi Fest with you and your families in keeping with our cultural traditions.

The festivities will begin at 3:30 pm with children offering flowers to Our Lady in the John Paul II hall, followed by a solemn procession to St. Maximilian Kolbe church. The Holy Mass will be celebrated by the Most Rev. William McGratten, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Toronto along with our own Fr. Edwin D'Souza and Fr. Andrew Lewis.

We will then share a traditional vegetarian meal followed by a short cultural program. This will include a tableau depicting the Mangalorean Catholic heritage written by Mr. Manohar Pais followed by a special appearance by the world famous Konkani writer/dramatist Mr. Francis Fernandes Cassia.

So we encourage you to book your tickets as soon as possible and look forward to celebrating this event with you.

With warmest regards,

Mangalorean Association of Canada
