on 2010/6/27 7:30:00 (1205 reads)

Author Ozzie Sequeira encourages the quest for truth through reading sacred books of many religions. The Alpha and Omega: Whence From to Whither To is a quest for truth containing references from the Bible and other religious scriptures that attempts to understand the truth of life, its purpose, and its final destination.

Ozzie seeks to provide his readers with an understanding of the mystery of the truth of life in his newest publication. It is a manuscript that, by design, transcends religious affinity and simply promotes or advances the belief that only through educating one’s self by way of reading the religious scriptures can one find true wisdom and knowledge. The ideas presented in the book are not new; in fact, several publications are available discussing the very same theories, principles, thoughts, arguments, and ideas. What makes The Alpha and Omega unique, however, is that it presents all of this information in a single thought theory, as detailed in a single book. This effectively eliminates the need to peruse and cross-reference numerous manuscripts when reading on the topic.

The Alpha and Omega shows, in an accurate manner, the connection between the Bible and history that many ordinary people are not aware of, such as the numerous prophecies in the bible which have come true, and how the prophecies of the Old Testament are connected with the New Testament. The book also delves into one of the most misunderstood and feared books of the Bible – the Revelation; explaining concisely and clearly that it is not about doomsday predictions but actually a book of hope. The Alpha and Omega explains, in simple terms, the symbols and dreams of the Bible and its connection with history, it also looks into the many interesting topics that people discuss today such as death, hell, devils, demons, and ghosts, among many others. Ozzie hopes that, through his book, readers will strive to learn the truth from religious scripture. As it is through learning this truth can man only truly love himself and be happy.

Ozzie was born in Mangalore, currently settled in Scarborough with his family. He is fondly known for his good old Konkani movie “Mog and Maipas”. He is a widely travelled person and was a passionate reader of fiction earlier in life. However two miraculous healings, one of his incapacitated leg by accident at a retreat center at the age of 43 and again his total recovery of advanced cancer together with 4 major blocks in an already damaged heart due to a silent heart attack twelve years ago caused him to search for the truth of life. Consequently he began reading sacred books of all religions and history books. The result is he has been able to produce a unique book, which shows the strong connections between the four major religions of the world, the connection between history and the bible, the connection between the old and the New Testament and the accurate occurrence of the prophecies mentioned therein down history. He has been able to simplify the book of Revelation and explain the symbols in simple terms for the understanding of lay people. His aim is to spread the truth he has discovered to all people so that this world becomes a better place to live.

Ozzie is an active member of the Mangalorean Association of Canada. We take this opportunity to congratulate Ozzie on his achievement and wish him success in his future endeavors.
