Twelve year old Caroline D’Souza cares deeply for the community and through her fundraising efforts is creating awareness towards cancer and its cure. She is also a deserving recipient of the 2008 Ontario Junior Citizen Award presented to her by the Honorable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.

Caroline is the daughter of Kevin and Lovina D’Souza and is a grade 8 student at St. Dominic Savio Catholic School, Scarborough. Once a week, she attends the Gifted School at St. Ignatius of Loyola. She is also a regular altar server at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Scarborough.

Caroline has donated her beautiful long hair and donated it to make wigs for patients suffering cancer and is also collecting funds which will go towards SickKids Foundation.
